kykNET offers aspirants as well as professional filmmakers the opportunity to win R10 000 in kykNET’s digital isolation short film competition. Filmmakers have the opportunity to create a short film of no less than 1 minute and no longer than 5 minutes. The only requirement is that the current isolation rules, as set out by President Cyril Ramaphosa, must be strictly followed. There are no limitations with regards to theme or genres and filmmakers can showcase their own initiative. Also, read the terms and conditions to make sure your short film will be accepted. NB! All projects must be uploaded to YouTube as unlisted, and only the link will be shared during the enrollment process.
